To prepare your paint safely for our collection, please store waste inside or covered with secure lids to prevent contamination. This includes mixing with rainwater and other external elements.

Whether empty paint cans are considered hazardous waste depends on the type of paint they contain and whether any residue remains. Cans that once held oil-based paint are typically classified as hazardous, even when empty, due to the potential presence of harmful chemicals.

Can Paint Tins Go In General Waste?
