Used Antifreeze Disposal
Used antifreeze is hazardous waste and may contain heavy metals or other contaminants. It must be collected, stored, and disposed of in line with environmental regulations. Pouring it down drains or into the ground is illegal and harmful to wildlife and water sources.
Even after use, antifreeze containers may contain residue of the chemical. This means the waste is still classified as hazardous, and must be disposed of in line with UK guidelines.
